BECOME A FOSTER FAMILY FOR PROJECT DOG!

We need your help.
We are in need of foster homes for dogs aged between 10 months and 9 years of age. Besides our kennel costs being through the roof, the dogs need a homely environment where they can socialise and be loved. Life at the kennels, although we do our utmost best to make them happy, is a sad place for most dogs. We have lots of cat friendly dogs, small breed, medium breed, large breed, male or female dogs... definitely one to suit your home smile emoticon
All our dogs have been spayed / neutered and vaccinated. Bedding and food will be provided and all costs covered.
They just need a safe and warm place to stay until they find their forever homes. If you can't adopt please consider becoming a foster home. Call Quicha on 083 272 7201 for more information about fostering.

Adopting A dog or Puppy from Project Dog

Adopting from Project Dog

At Project Dog, we are committed not only to rehabilitating and rehoming our dogs, but to finding a great match between each animal and their new family. We take into account the breed of the dog, the background, the temperament and personality, and try to find them the most suitable enviornment.
To adopt a puppy or dog from us, you will need to meet our criteria. This will include a face-to-face meeting with you, as well as an inspection of your home and property.  In order for us to find the “perfect match”, we ask you to complete the application form which can be downloaded from clicking on this link  application form, and e-mail this through to us. This will help us to understand a little bit about you, and in turn what type of dog would thrive within your home environment and lifestyle.
When you are approved to adopt and have chosen the furbaby who you wish to adopt, we ask only for a donation of R300 for the dog or puppy which you adopt, this goes towards the veterinary care and to keep us going to help more rescues in need.
All our adult dogs have been spayed / neutered and their vaccinations are up to date.
When you adopt a puppy you will sign an adoption contract, this stating that you agree to have the puppy spayed or neutered at 6 months of age. You will receive a welfare rate to do this, so that you do not pay the full price. All our puppies are vaccinated and dewormed before going to their forever homes.
If there is a specific puppy or dog that you’d like to adopt, or if you’d like to find out more about our adoption process, please contact Quicha on  083 272 7201 or Kim on 083 555 0111
You can also email Quicha or Kim on the E-mail addresses below:

Newest Additions: The bottle feeding puppies

To brighten up your Monday morning, we thought we would share with you some of our latest little bottle feeding rescues. So often, puppies are rescued and the mom dogs are nowhere in sight, or sometimes sadly the mom dogs pass away or are even unable to support their young and without the help of dedicated foster parents, we hate to think what would happen to the puppies. Pictured here, are the Project Dog's newest rescue puppies, being just 2 and a half weeks old at the moment, (German Shepherd mix puppies) they are being bottle fed by their very dedicated foster mom - who even takes the pups to work with her! That is just pure dedication and Love!!! Without our dedicated foster moms, we would not be able to help so many dogs and puppies in need.
Here are some lovely pictures of the latest additions, who will be up for adoption when they are 6 weeks old. Have a "Smile" and meet "Tucker, Tia and Tessa".
