Adopting A dog or Puppy from Project Dog

Adopting from Project Dog

At Project Dog, we are committed not only to rehabilitating and rehoming our dogs, but to finding a great match between each animal and their new family. We take into account the breed of the dog, the background, the temperament and personality, and try to find them the most suitable enviornment.
To adopt a puppy or dog from us, you will need to meet our criteria. This will include a face-to-face meeting with you, as well as an inspection of your home and property.  In order for us to find the “perfect match”, we ask you to complete the application form which can be downloaded from clicking on this link  application form, and e-mail this through to us. This will help us to understand a little bit about you, and in turn what type of dog would thrive within your home environment and lifestyle.
When you are approved to adopt and have chosen the furbaby who you wish to adopt, we ask only for a donation of R300 for the dog or puppy which you adopt, this goes towards the veterinary care and to keep us going to help more rescues in need.
All our adult dogs have been spayed / neutered and their vaccinations are up to date.
When you adopt a puppy you will sign an adoption contract, this stating that you agree to have the puppy spayed or neutered at 6 months of age. You will receive a welfare rate to do this, so that you do not pay the full price. All our puppies are vaccinated and dewormed before going to their forever homes.
If there is a specific puppy or dog that you’d like to adopt, or if you’d like to find out more about our adoption process, please contact Quicha on  083 272 7201 or Kim on 083 555 0111
